MCC 3196

Hawaiian Air

MCC 3196 is reserved for Hawaiian Air. Card networks reserve codes 3000–3299 for individual airlines, so issuers can see exactly which company a payment went to.

Airlines without a reserved code use MCC 4511. This category carries elevated fraud or chargeback exposure, for example because of future delivery, high ticket sizes or recurring billing. Expect closer underwriting and possibly a rolling reserve.

Related categories include MCC 4511 for airlines. Nearby codes include MCC 3193 for Indian Airlines and MCC 3197 for Havasu Airlines.
