MCC 3247

Airline Brand Code

MCC 3247 is reserved for a specific airline. Card networks reserve codes 3000–3299 for individual airlines, so issuers can see exactly which company a payment went to.

Airlines without a reserved code use MCC 4511. This category carries elevated fraud or chargeback exposure, for example because of future delivery, high ticket sizes or recurring billing. Expect closer underwriting and possibly a rolling reserve.
