MCC 3559 is reserved for a specific hotel chain. Card networks reserve codes 3500–3999 for individual hotel chains, so issuers can see exactly which company a payment went to.

Hotels without a reserved code use MCC 7011. Acquirers generally treat this category as standard risk, so onboarding is usually straightforward and pricing is standard.
